Heart Saver CPR/AED/First Aid Course

Intended Audience
Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer's efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, e.g., corporate employees, security guards, Childcare providers , airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need first aid training.

Course Description
The Heart Saver AED Course section: teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR.

The Heart Saver First Aid Course section provides the skills to effectively provide care during the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel. The course provides a complete health and safety training solution for First Aid, CPR and AED.

The Heart Saver First Aid Course has been developed using the same evidence-based process as all American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care courses.

Text book can be purchased before the day of class or on the day of program.
